Views on Ties of WMG With Metaverse
The announcement follows a significant collaboration agreement between WMG and OpenSea to organise Web3 tools for creatives and artists. With a partner from Web3, the platform will host non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Probably Nothing in terms of giving WMG artists engagement resources and digital assets.
It will provide artists with landing pages, storytelling, digital product drops, and other content solutions. Fans can connect with their favorite artists to define best practices for Web3 governance and announce limited-edition NFT drops.
According to a statement from the Sandbox, the program gives music lovers “a combination of a musical theme park and concert venue.” WMG created a custom musical metaverse stage for real-time 3D (RT3D) performances with musicians like Camilla Cabello, Green Day, Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, and others.
The portal also houses Snoop Dogg’s Snoopverse, which has 67 premium places and 122 digital LAND plots for individuals looking for property in the Metaverse. Cathy Hackl, Dedmau5, Shaun Neff, and Outlier Ventures have all worked with Snoop Dogg in the past to provide advice to individuals about their XR startups.
